While walking back from yoga class, there was a crew filming a snow-filled winter scene for the next Catherine Zeta Jones movie, "The Rebound"

Here's a phone pic I took in-between takes (she's to the right of the guy in the white shirt).

On the internet, I found a part of what appears to be a confrontation/makeup scene between CZJ and her co-star, Justin Bartha.

Song I can't get out of my head...

While listening to the excellent music stations on Music Choice on Time Warner Cable, I came across this infectious song by Felix the Housecat from 2007, "Like Something for Porno". Well, of course, there's a video for it on YouTube!

For those of you interested in the "night version" (you know you're curious") you can watch it here (might not be SFW).

There must be thousands of NYers (especially ex pats) skipping work to watch the Manchester vs. Chelsea football final. Seen outside Village Purpose House.

Wednesday funny: Bud Light Commercial

Since Firebrand stopped operating, I haven't had the opportunity to view commercials of note. This one I came across via Howard Lindzon's site, it's pretty funny if you ask me.

Hump day means only one thing: free starbucks coffee!

Grazie Starbucks for the free Pike Place roast on Wednesdays (wish they extended it for the rest of the year!).

Talking dog

This dog says "I love you" for treats. Seen at liquiteria, nyc.

Monday lunch

Having a burrito bowl from Chipotle Mexican Grill. Love the ample amounts of fresh cilantro they use in the rice and salsas. Spritz on a few cut limes and lunch becomes a tangy treat.

Thanks to advice from Stephanie Quilao at the back in skinny jeans and noshtopia blogs,I'm opting out of ordering cheese and sour cream, instead getting some fresh guacamole.

Still tastes delicious and saving calories and saturated fat!

The "other" side

If you thought the wait for a slice at Artichoke was bad, check out the line to get a table at BBQ in Times Square! One hour for a table!

Red Mango: trying Green Tea

Having a 4oz Green Tea Froyo woth fresh strawberries, blueberries and pineaple.

nitecap

Enjoyed a late night smoke at Velvet Lounge. Savored an Avo Legacy for almost 75 minutes!

Late night line up

Even at midnight, there still 10+ people lined up at Artichoke.

John's Pizza of Bleeker

Already crowded!

Our dinner destination, Flor's Kitchen shut down.

During our stroll, we saw so many stores for rent--lots of places shutting down.

How can we not be in a recession?

At Time Warner Cable...payment line is 50 deep!

Service center is run more efficiently (get a ticket and wait until called). So glad I am not on the payments line!

Basil: King of the cranky cocker spaniels

Our dog Basil is cranky most of the time, but when you least expect it - he can be loving.

Tribeca Film Fest is everywhere!

No wonder the streets are so crowded tonight (especially near any cinema).

Helmeted beauty

Seen on 10th Street & 3rd Avenue.
